Stephanie Jerome

Elected to the Board by the Vermont State Legislature in 2021. Term expires in March 2027. Born in Burlington, Vermont. Educated at the University of Vermont, BA, 1984, and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MPA, 1989. Following graduate school, she was awarded a Presidential Management Fellowship and then served as a Policy Analyst in the Office of Space Sciences at NASA. Stephanie currently serves as a member of the House of Representatives and co-owner of Visual Learning Systems, a video-based K-12 science education publishing company. She is a current member of the University of Vermont Cancer Center Community Advisory Board and Town of Brandon Revolving Loan Fund. Stephanie has served on numerous boards and organizations including: UVM Alumni Council Regional Boards (Vermont and Washington DC); the Vermont Arts Council; Brandon Area Chamber of Commerce (President); Brandon Planning Commission (President); Neshobe School and Friends of Otter Valley Music (President). Stephanie is married to Brian Jerome (UVM ’84) and they have three children, Louisa (UVM ’18), Andrew (UVM ’20) and Benjamin (UVM ’22).
