Student Conduct Statistics

The University of Vermont’s maintains an agreement with the City of Burlington (2000) to provide annual statistics pertaining to student conduct at the university. This summary report outlines the types and number of violations that were referred involving students’ off-campus conduct, the frequency of repeat offenses, and the general nature of the University’s response.

As agreed, the University responds to those incidents which are “demonstrated violations” categorized as noise, assaults, disorderly conduct, and liquor laws. The University receives a list of all individuals cited in Burlington that are between the ages of 18-24 and then identifies UVM students for appropriate follow-up.

In addition to this off-campus data, we also provide summary data for all student conduct totals. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any remaining questions or concerns.
