The Identity and Account Management (IAM) Office ensures appropriate access to UVM's information resources by managing authentication and authority systems and services. IAM can assist with NetIDs and passwords, Multifactor Authentication, and authorization to resources such as Exchange email and calendars, Virtual Private Networking (VPN), File Sharing, and guest accounts.

All about your UVM NetID

Your NetID username and password control your access to UVM's services and resources.

Multi-Factor Authentication

An added layer of verification to applications and services to combat unauthorized access.

Exchange Mail and Calendar Settings

Most settings can be found in Outlook on the Web (OWA) by selecting the gear icon and then choosing Options.

Virtual Private Networking (VPN)

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) allows your computer to make a private encrypted connection over the Internet to another private network. UVM's VPN enables remote users to securely access UVM resources as though they were on campus.

Mailing Lists (LISTSERV)

A mailing list is a collection of email addresses compiled with the intent of more effectively sharing information. Any messages sent to a list are passed along to every subscriber of that list.
