The Undergraduate Studies Committee (UGSC) is comprised of faculty members from the Grossman School of Business who review and evaluate student requests for exceptions, waivers or changes to their business curriculum requirements. Academic requirements for the Grossman School of Business are listed and defined in the University of Vermont catalogue: catalogue.uvm.edu.

Students are subject to the requirements in place for the catalogue year in which they entered UVM as a matriculating degree student, which may not be the current catalogue. Remember to check the catalogue archives link for the appropriate catalogue year.

All petitions to the UGSC are only accepted through this form. A student who plans to petition the UGSC should meet with an advisor in the Center for Student Success (100 Kalkin Hall) prior to submitting a petition. There are certain circumstances where a petition may not be needed and other situations where a requirement cannot be waived by the UGSC.

Petitions are due by 12:00PM on the Monday prior to the respective meeting date. Students will be notified via their UVM email of the Committee's decision within one week after the petition is reviewed.

Next Meeting: Wednesday, April 3rd
