Since completing his academic time at UVM, Dr. Frost’s career has spanned topics in acoustic, elastodynamic, electromagnetic and nuclear radiation. Awarded three patents, he founded the consulting firm Frosty's Physics, LLC. His service work ranges from being a decorated Vietnam era veteran, to continued efforts advocating for diversity and inclusion in STEAM workplaces, to recent work for the National Academy of Engineering on a memorial tribute to Dr. Wesley L. Nyborg (1917-2011). He was the inaugural recipient of the Hood Interdisciplinary Fellowship, and remains one of our most engaged UVM Physics Alumni.
