Dr. Paul R. Low has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of PRL Associates since July 1992. Dr. Low worked for IBM from 1957 to 1992 and in his tenure he held senior management and executive positions with successively increasing responsibility, including President, General Technology Division (with responsibilities for all semiconductor manufacturing and development worldwide) and Corporate Vice President; President of General Products Division (with responsibility for disk and tape drive manufacturing and development worldwide); and General Manager, Technology Products business line (with responsibility for all semiconductor and packaging technology) from 1989 to 1992, also served on IBM's corporate management board from June 1990 to June 1992.

From July 1990 to July 1992, Dr. Low served as a Vice President and General Manager of IBM. Dr. Low served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xionics Document Technologies Inc. since January 1998. He has been a Director of Solectron Corporation since 1993. He serves as Director of SemEquip, Inc., BlueShift Technologies, Inc., and NCD. He has been a Director of Philips Semiconductors, Inc. (also known as VLSI Technology Inc.) since 1996. Dr. Low serves as a Director of Integrated Packaging Assembly Corp., and several privately-held companies. He has been a Director of Flextronics Corporation since 1993. He served as a Director of Veeco Instruments Inc., from 1994 to May 2, 2008. Dr. Low served as a Director of Xionics Document Technologies Inc. since October 1995. He served as a Director of Maker Communications Inc. (Maker) since March 1999. Dr. Low served as a Director of Applied Materials Inc., since 1992. He served as a Director of Network Computing Devices Inc., and Netkey, Inc.

Dr. Low has served as a member of the Boards of Advisors of the Engineering School of Stanford University and the University of Vermont and a Member of the Board of Trustees of RPI, Marist College and the University of Vermont.
