Approved projects are run by certified volunteers who have already completed their intern hours. If you are an Intern volunteer and you cannot find an ongoing project in your local area or one that fits your scheduling needs, we may consider an exception. Please contact Deb Heleba and she will help connect you with an approved project that meets your needs or connect you with a Master Gardener or Composter volunteer who can mentor you. In rare circumstances, you (as an intern) and your mentor can co-apply to create a new project using the volunteer project application form where the certified volunteer will act as the project lead.
