Serving all genders and working toward equity on our campus and in our worlds.

The Women and Gender Equity Center was originally founded in 1991 as the Women's Center. In May, 2020, we became the UVM Women and Gender Equity Center, or WAGE through efforts of students, faculty, and staff who recognized the impact of gender on our sense of place, self, and access. The UVM Women & Gender Equity Center are committed to cultivating spaces of connection and evolving needs of our campus to explore and celebrate the intersections of their gender and other identities.

The WAGE Center advocates, educates, and provides direct services and resources in support of gender equity.
