On this page you will find resources that you may find helpful if you are involved in either a UVM conduct or legal process related to sexual harassment or misconduct, or if you otherwise need support, guidance, counseling, or relief.

Men's Outreach Coordinator UVM’s Men’s Outreach Coordinator, Keith Smith, is a mental health counselor who provides general counseling, crisis counseling, assessment, and case management and referral for male students. He also offers advocacy, support and resources for men who may be involved in campus judicial hearings, and conducts, participates in and organizes events that are related to the physical, psychological and emotional needs of male students.

Howard Center Adult Crisis Hotline (24/7) Mobile Crisis Team is a 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week program. It provides immediate response to requests from Chittenden County residents, 18 and older, and their support systems. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (24/7) No matter what you are dealing with, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline wants to help you find a reason to keep living. The Trevor Project (24/7) The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing free crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24. Trans Lifeline Trans Lifeline is a free hotline for trans and gender nonconforming people experiencing a crisis. This includes people who may be struggling with their gender identity and are not sure if they are transgender. The hotline is staffed by trans and gender nonconforming people, and their volunteer operators are ready to respond to whatever support needs you may have. UVM Medical Center The Emergency Department at the UVM Medical Center has specially trained Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners, or SANE Nurses, who are specially trained to provide care to those who have been sexually assaulted. If you have been sexually assaulted and wish to see a SANE Nurse, visit the UVM Medical Center Emergency Room, located at 111 Colchester Avenue in Burlington, VT.
