Registration is now open for NECAFS Annual Conference and Meeting which will be held jointly with our Northeast Region State Produce Implementation Cooperative Agreement Program (CAP) partners. The meeting will be held February 5-6, 2019 (with a welcome reception on Monday night, February 4th) at the Hilton Albany Hotel in Albany, NY.  This is an open meeting and anyone interested is welcome to attend.

We are excited to kick off this year's Conference and Meeting with a welcome reception and gathering on Monday night, providing the opportunity to reconnect with regional colleagues before the programming portions of the conference. Tuesday will feature both a joint conference in the morning including updates from each state regulatory, research and extension and focused meetings in the afternoon dedicated to Produce Safety and Preventive Controls for Human Food in two parallel tracks. There will also be a poster session immediately following the Tuesday conference where anyone is invited to present a poster, either one from a former conference or something new. Wednesday morning will feature federal updates from the FDA and USDA, a Buyer focused meeting and Educational Approaches to Training Delivery, in parallel tracks and the joint conference afternoon session will including working meeting outputs, next steps, and looking forward to 2019. The NECAFS Steering Team will meet on Wednesday, immediately following the conference.
