Heidi Soons is a native of Englewood, New Jersey, and she started harp lessons at age eleven with Jane Weidensaul. She played in the New Jersey Youth Orchestra and spent a summer at the Brevard Music Center in North Carolina. She spent many years playing programs in the schools as part of the VSO SymphonyKids harp duo, "93 Strings."

Groups accompanied: Principal harpist with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra since 1978.

Memorable performances: Solo performances have included appearances with the Killington Music Festival, the Dartmouth Chamber Orchestra, and the Vermont Symphony Orchestra.
