Rubenstein Graduate Student Association (RGSA)

RGSA is an association of and for graduate students of the Rubenstein School. The goals of the RGSA are: to promote the interests and welfare of RSENR graduate students; to serve as a commons for all RSENR graduate students to provide input on RSENR policy, curriculum, and operation; to serve as a conduit of information relevant to graduate education in RSENR and UVM; to promote an intellectual and social community of graduate education; and to sponsor opportunities for academic and professional development among its members. Rubenstein Student Advisory Board (SAB)

This group of approximately 14-20 Rubenstein School undergraduate students meets with the Dean of the School throughout the year to provide ongoing connection with the faculty and administration. They provide insight on issues including curriculum, teaching, academic advising, and social activities. Society of American Foresters (SAF)

The UVM Student Chapter of SAF seeks to "advance the science, technology, education, and practice of professional forestry in America and use the knowledge and skills of the profession to benefit society." The Wildlife Society (TWS) Student Chapter

TWS is an international professional non-profit organization dedicated to wise management and conservation of the wildlife resources of the world. The UVM Wildlife and Fisheries Student Chapter sponsors a wide array of educational and social activities. Members carry conservation education beyond the campus through public displays and presentations to school and community groups. They take active stands on current environmental issues and often supply useful input to state and national legislators. Selected students may also participate in intercollegiate wildlife conclaves designed to test their knowledge of the environment and wildlife biology.
