We take a cross disciplinary approach to our undergraduate curriculum. Producing students who not only have a thorough understanding of traditional disciplines such as Finance or Accounting, but weave globalization, sustainability, and entrepreneurship throughout our curriculum. This combined with our focus on experiential learning prepares students to excel not just in the business world of today, but the business world of tomorrow.

Hiring a UVM Grossman School of Business Student

We advertise job and internship opportunities in the Catamount Job Link, our online hub for recruiting. As an employer, you have access to the system so that you can create, post, and modify job and internship opportunities.

All UVM students and alumni have access to this system so that they can search for positions. Each week the Grossman School of Business also sends out an email to all students with a list of new opportunities that have been posted.

On Campus Interviews

Both the Grossman School of Business and Central Career Center offer private interview rooms available for conducting on campus interviews.

Speaking in Class

Our faculty are frequently interested in having industry experts give presentations or speak on a particular topic in their classes.  These are great opportunities to get time with students in a particular concentration or class topic that is specific to your industry or company.

Career Treks & Company Visits

Each year the Grossman School of Business takes groups of students interested in a particular field to cities throughout the country to visit companies and learn more about the business community and/or particular industries.  These are great opportunities to introduce students to your company or industry.

Sponsor a Case Competition

Sponsoring a case competition is mutually beneficial for students and employers.  Employers get the opportunity to watch some of our best and brightest students take on real world problems and see how they work under pressure.  While students get the opportunity to practice what they are learning in the classroom and deepen their knowledge and experience.

Industry Focused Events

Company representatives are welcome to participate in Workshops, Panels, Roundtables, Lunch and Learn, or other events that fit their needs.  These types of events are great ways to share real world experience or industry advice with current students, while allowing them to become familiar with your organization.
