The James Madison Memorial Fellowship seeks to improve teaching subjects related to the United States Constitution in secondary schools. To do so, the James Madison Foundation seeks to support students who are interested in obtaining a graduate degree in order to teach subjects such as American Government or American history to high school students.

You must also be a teacher, or plan to become a teacher, of American history, American government, or social studies at the secondary school level (grades 7-12). Finally, Possess a bachelor's degree or plan to receive a bachelor's degree no later than August 31 of the year in which you are applying.
