Paying Your Acceptance Fee at UVM

We're ready if you're ready.

If you are ready to pay your acceptance fee, you have the convenience of paying online. To guarantee your enrollment for the fall semester, payment must be received by May 1, 2019. Please keep in mind that the acceptance fee is non-refundable. Acceptance fees received after the May 1 deadline will be considered on a space-available basis only. The acceptance fee is a one-time fee separate from tuition.

Note: Transfers and students admitted for the spring semester have until the date specified in their acceptance letter to notify us of their decision to enroll.

Acceptance Fee Payment Options

Online:

We encourage online payment. You may pay your $495 non-refundable acceptance fee online by E-check or by credit card (Mastercard, American Express, Discover or Visa).

Pay your acceptance fee online through our application status page. Simply login with your applicant email and select the "reply to your offer of admission". Once you have accepted your offer, you will receive a confirmation message and e-mail for your records. Online payment is available until May 1.

By mail:

Complete your enrollment by sending a check or money order (cash is not accepted) to: Office of Admissions, University of Vermont, 194 South Prospect Street, Burlington, VT 05401-3596 (Include the student's date of birth with the check). Be sure to have it postmarked by May 1, 2019.

Acceptance Fee Information

Acceptance fees are non-refundable.

Acceptance fees postmarked or received after the May 1 deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. The acceptance fee is a one-time fee separate from tuition; it is not a tuition deposit.

Please be sure to notify any other colleges to which you've been accepted that you plan to attend the University of Vermont.

Deadline extensions are granted only if you have applied for need-based financial aid and have not received your financial aid package within three working days of the deadline. Please send an e-mail to the Admissions Office (admissions@uvm.edu) before the payment deadline to request an extension.
