Dr. Lamba also participates in numerous national cooperative group trials. His research has opened doors to innovative therapies for patients with blood-related cancers through his involvement in the design and conduct of Phase I, II and III clinical trials. His current projects include a study to compare complete remission rates of high dose cytarabine - mitoxantrone and hyper CVAD in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and burtkitt’s lymphoma.  He has also just finished working on a randomized double blind trial of chlorhexidine bathing to reduce health care associated infections among ncology patients with Dr. M Montecalvo at NYMC.
