“Slow reels and strathspeys, smooth fiddle and staccato banjo, plenty of their own material as well as the best of three centuries of tradition: there seems to be no end to Còig's talents, and I'm sure their story will continue well beyond this outstanding recording.” --- Alex Monaghan, FolkWorld

Còig has performed three unforgettable holiday concerts for the Lane Series: joyful, uplifting, and comforting songs and tunes from the Cape Breton Celtic tradition. Fronted by the electrifying duo fiddlers Crissy Crowley and Rachel Davis, no one is immune to the charms of a Còig concert, especially in the dark days of winter. Of course, because of travel restrictions, we cannot welcome them to our hall this year, but they have planned the next best thing: a special streamed concert that includes both new and familiar arrangements of holiday classics. They will broadcast the performance from a beautiful theater on Prince Edward Island, specially personalized for our audience just in time to put you in the holiday spirit.

*a web link and access password will be sent via email 24 hours prior to the event, and access to the stream will be available until 10pm (EST) the day after the event
