Address Options<\/h2>\n

There are two addresses available for connecting to UVM’s Virtual Private Network (VPN). Please use the table below to see which address best meets your desired use case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Print to home network printers?<\/strong><\/td>\nYes<\/strong>, you can print to home printers while connected.<\/td>\nNo<\/strong>, you can only print to UVM networked printers.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Logging In<\/h2>\n

  1. Open the Cisco Secure Client<\/strong>\u00a0app.\"App<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Enter either sslvpn.uvm.edu<\/strong> or sslvpn.uvm.edu\/full<\/strong> in the text field, and then click Connect<\/strong>.\"Cisco<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Enter your NetID and your NetID Password into the Single Sign-On window that appears, and then click LOG IN<\/strong>.\"SSO<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Proceed through the Duo prompt.

  5. If you’re on your own computer, and you’d like to skip the Duo prompt next time, click Yes, this is my device<\/strong>. Otherwise, select No<\/strong>.

  6. Upon successful authentication, you will receive a welcome banner. Click Accept<\/strong> to close the banner and finish connecting.\"Cisco<\/a><\/li>\n
  7. You can tell you’re connected by looking in the notification tray, found in the bottom-right corner of Windows (you may have to click the up arrow to Show hidden icons<\/strong>) or the upper-right corner of macOS. The Cisco Secure Client icon appears with a lock over it when connected. When you’re ready to return to a standard internet connection, click that icon and then click Disconnect<\/strong> to disconnect from the VPN.
