Microsoft Teams – Adding Virtual Meeting Backgrounds

UVM has compiled a set of virtual background images for use in Microsoft Teams meetings. This article will guide you through the necessary steps to download and use these custom backgrounds during your next Teams meeting.

1. Visit the UVM Virtual Backgrounds page and click on an image you’d like to use for your background.
   • Right-click on the enlarged image and select “Save image as…” to download a copy to your computer.
     
2. The next time you join a Teams meeting, select Background Filters, then click the + Add new button.
   
3. Browse to the UVM Virtual Meeting Background you downloaded in step 1, then click Open.
   
4. You’ve successfully changed your meeting background. Join your meeting!
