The following guides will help you connect to UVM’s wireless network. The guide includes steps for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. If you have connected on your device previously, you may first need to forget the network.<\/a><\/p>\n

  1. Click on the network icon from your icon tray (normally, in the bottom right corner of your screen). Click the arrow (<\/i><\/strong>) to the right of the Wi-Fi<\/strong> symbol (<\/i><\/strong>).

  2. If Wi-Fi is off<\/strong>, click the toggle switch (<\/i><\/strong>) to turn it back on.

  3. Select UVM <\/strong>from the list of available networks, then ensure the Connect Automatically<\/strong> option is checked, and click Connect<\/strong>. \"Windows<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Enter your UVM NetID and password, then click OK<\/strong>.

  5. Click Connect<\/strong>\u00a0again when the following prompt is displayed:

  6. You should now see the filled wireless icon, indicating a successful connection to the wireless network.

      1. Click on the Wi-Fi <\/i> icon in the top right corner and select the UVM<\/strong> network from the list of\u00a0Other Networks\"macOS<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n
      2. Enter UVM NetID and password, then click\u00a0OK\"macOS<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
      3. If prompted to verify a certificate, click\u00a0Continue\"macOS<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
      4. You should now be connected to UVM WiFi<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Click on the WiFi icon in the top right corner and select the\u00a0UVM<\/strong> network.

        2. If you haven’t connected to UVM WiFi on this device in the past, you’ll be asked to verify UVM’s WiFi certificate.\n
