myUVM provides instructor access to UVM’s Self Service system to perform an array of tasks for managing their assigned courses. Instructors can use resources for reviewing roster for their sections, creating registration overrides, viewing accessibility requests, entering and maintaining final grades.<\/p>\n

All links related to course management can be found under the Course Accessibility,<\/strong>\u00a0Course Management, and Class Roster <\/strong>cards. These cards can be found by searching for them by title in the myUVM Discover Page<\/a><\/strong> <\/i><\/p>\n

\r\n \t\t\tSession Timeout Error<\/span> \t\t\t \t\t\t\t

\r\n \t\t\t\t\tUsers may experience a Session Timeout error when opening Self Service. To fix this issue you will need to clear your browser cache, directions on how to do this can be found here: UVM KB – Clearing Browser Cache<\/a> \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n

Registration Overrides<\/h2>\n

Instructor can provide overrides for students requesting to take their courses, but are unable to register for a section do to course restrictions. After an override has been created the student will need to complete the registration on their end. Registration Overrides are created and submitted in UVM’s Self Service application.

    3. Fill in<\/strong> the appropriate information needed for the Override.<\/li>\n

      Accessibility Requests<\/h2>\n

      The myAccess Services website allows faculty to view their customized accommodation information and to manage exam scheduling and note taking requests. Instructors can use the Course Accessibility <\/strong>card to access the myAccess Services website<\/p>\n \t\t

        Course Rosters<\/h2>\n

        myUVM provides Several ways to view class rosters for your assigned course sections. The\u00a0Class Roster\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Faculty Dashboard\u00a0<\/strong>cards provide two options for accessing student lists in Self Service<\/p>\n \t\t

        \r\n \t\t\t\t\tBrightspace offer the\u00a0Classlist<\/a><\/strong> feature for viewing and emailing your students \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n \t\t

            Entering Final Grades<\/h2>\n

            Instructors are required to enter their grades in Self Service at the end of each semester or session, grade sheets can be accessed under the Course Management card.<\/p>\n

                The\u00a0Grade Maintenance\u00a0<\/strong>card provides links for Instructors to view originally submitted grades, submit changes, and run incomplete grading reports. Access this card by:<\/p>\n
