Find and pin your courses<\/h2>\n

This short article in the UVM Knowledge Base, Brightspace \u2013 Find Your Course<\/a> explains the difference between Fall 2023<\/strong> courses, migrated<\/strong> courses, and sandboxes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Upload your syllabus<\/h2>\n

You can just drag and drop your syllabus into the Syllabus area in at the top of “Content & Activities.” See the Syllabus section<\/a> on this Knowledge Base article.<\/p>\n

Make your course available to students<\/h2>\n

In Brightspace terminology, a course is either “Active” or “Inactive.” By default, all courses are inactive<\/em>, but activating your course so students can see it is simple! See this Knowledge Base article<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Add TAs and\/or review the Classlist<\/h2>\n

You no longer need to request this in MyUVM. You can now add TAs immediately from your own class list! This Knowledge Base article<\/a> explains how.<\/p>\n

Create an Announcement<\/h2>\n

It’s simple! Read about how in this article in the Knowledge Base<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Add some content<\/h2>\n

Content can mean a few items or a huge host of materials or links to course activities, e.g. quizzes, assignments, discussions. Either way, they’ll need to be presented and organized within Modules<\/em> (which are similar to folders) under the Table of Contents.
