\"\"<\/a>UVM is a participating member of the EduRoam federation. EduRoam is a globally distributed network access system developed to create a ubiquitous wireless network at all participating providers.<\/p>\n

Any UVM student, faculty, or staff who travels to a participating EduRoam institution have access to that institution’s wireless network using their UVM credentials, while also protecting their credentials and ensuring their safety. Similarly it allows any affiliate who of an EduRoam participator to use their credentials at UVM to securely access wireless networking resources.<\/p>\n

EduRoam is available in thousands of locations across over 100 countries worldwide. From campuses to coffee shops.<\/p>\n

Login to EduRoam<\/h2>\n \t\t
\r\n \t\t\tTo connect to EduRoam, use your NetID@uvm.edu<\/em> instead of just your NetID<\/span> \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n

General (Windows, macOS, iOS)<\/h3>\n

  1. Select the SSID\u00a0eduroam<\/strong>\u00a0from your device’s list of available wireless networks.\n
      \n
    • Enter your username at the prompt, in the format\u00a0NetID@uvm.edu<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Enter your NetID <\/strong>password <\/strong>in the password box.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Accept the eduroam certificate and authenticate your device, if prompted.\n
        \n
      • After you configure a device for eduroam on campus, it will automatically connect to eduroam wherever it is available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
