Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Testing

If you have any symptoms that you think are related to an STI, or if you have had known contact with a partner recently diagnosed with an STI, please call the Student Health Services at 802-656-3350 to schedule an appointment.

 

MyWellbeing MenuIf you have no symptoms, but are interested in STI testing:

  1. Log on to mywellbeing.uvm.edu with your UVM NetID and password.
  2. Select "Messages" from the menu and then choose "New Message."
  3. From the list of options, choose "I want STI Testing."
  4. Complete and submit the questionnnaire.

A nurse will review your questionnaire within one to two business days and contact you via secure message regarding your STI testing orders.

A note about billing: Please be aware tha the charges associated with any STI test will be submitted directly to your insurance company and may display on any insurance billing statements.

HIV Testing Alternatives

Student Health Services provides confidential HIV testing. Free, rapid HIV testing is available from Vermont CARES. Their nearest testing center is in downtown Burlington.

Student Health Services is required by law to report the diagnoses of Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and HIV to the Vermont Department of Health.
