Counseling Staff

Roxanne is a per-diem counselor at the CAPS Redstone office. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Northern Arizona University and her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Vermont. She completed her clinical internship at Champlain College, and worked at Washington County Mental Health Services providing outpatient counseling to adults through both individual and group therapy. She also managed the Wellness Collaborative through WCMHS, which focused on helping people develop skills to manage daily stressors using yoga, mindfulness, art, cooking, and more. She also has experience working in residential and crisis programs through the Howard Center.
Roxanne believes the college years can be an exciting time of personal growth, transition, and identity development, but can also be a time of high stress. She enjoys helping her clients explore their identity and process their experiences, while helping them develop the skills necessary to navigate daily stressors. She is interested in helping clients work through concerns including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship problems, and identity concerns.
