Associate Director of CAPS

Jennifer Hughes Phillips (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from UVM in 2005 and her undergraduate degree in Social Work from UVM in 2003. Jennifer also holds licensure in Vermont as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). Jennifer has experience working with adolescents, young adults and families, on issues related to mental health and addiction in a variety of treatment settings. Prior to her work at CAPS, Jennifer worked at Champlain College as a Mental Health Counselor and Alcohol & Drug Educator. Jennifer’s areas of clinical interest and focus include: trauma, grief & loss, identity development, sexual violence, addiction and healthy reciprocal relationships. In addition to her work at CAPS, Jennifer is a part-time faculty member in the UVM Social Work Department.
