The UVM Catamount Recovery Program (CRP) provides an affirming and empowering community for students in recovery from substance misuse. We create a supportive environment within campus culture that reinforces the decision to engage in a recovering lifestyle. CRP students have educational, academic, advisory, community building, and programmatic opportunities that support their decision to maintain their recovery as well as improve their academics and general life skills. Through its holistic approach to continuing care, the Catamount Recovery Program helps to provide a supportive college experience for students in recovery.
Within the UVM Catamount Recovery Program, we help students pursue their passions and translate them into future careers. The CRP affirms their identity as a college student in long-term recovery, provides sober activities to continue their development as engaged citizens of the world, and a community of support and connection that reflects the values of a recovering lifestyle.
By providing space, staffing, activities, and housing, your gift to the Catamount Recovery Program ensures that students have a community to support them. Please consider giving by the end of June so that your gift can have the maximum impact for students in the upcoming year.
