Julianna is supporting international research for the Low Emissions Agricultural Development theme of the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS). Julianna has strong interests in small-scale agricultural production and agricultural systems, poverty alleviation, communications that influence behavior change, and education. Prior to moving to Vermont, Julianna lived and worked for ten years in West Africa. Julianna speaks French and Hausa in addition to her native English.
