Finance Matters is the Division of Finance e-newsletter, published five times a year.

  • Division of Finance FY17 Year-in-Review: This annual review highlights some of the work and accomplishments of Division of Finance employees in fiscal/academic year 2017. (See also the DF FY16 Year-in-Review.)

  • University Annual Financial Statements: The annual financial statements of the University of Vermont and State Agricultural College are official documents prepared in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles set forth for public colleges and universities by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. The management of the University is responsible for the integrity and objectivity of these financial statements, which are accessible to all.

  • University Detailed Operating Budget: The Operating Budget provides a summary of UVM’s Total Budget and provides details on UVM’s unrestricted operating budget :the General Fund and Income/Expense activities.

  • IBB Manual (PDF): The IBB Manual summarizes the definitions, data sources, dates, and other details of the processes necessary to operationalize the algorithms of the UVM IBB model.

  • UVM Sourcebook: The Sourcebook is a collection of demographic and financial information. It is designed as a reference book for those who wish to know more about the numbers and trends that describe the University's size, costs, resources, and constituent groups.

Reports & Presentations

The Budget & Finance Network (BFAN) is an in-person and online community of UVM business and financial managers coordinated by the Division of Finance. DF uses the BFAN listserv to publish announcements, and hosts BFAN meetings four times a year.

FY 2018 meeting schedule

All meetings are held in Memorial Lounge, Waterman 328, 1:00 p.m. and run from 1-2 hours.
