The Division of Finance communicates with the broader University financial management community through a variety of publications and reports, as well as our Finance Matters newsletter, Budget & Finance Network (BFAN) meetings, and the BFAN and CATSKILL listservs.
The Division of Finance (DF) e-newsletter, Finance Matters, provides information shared at our Budget & Finance Network (BFAN) meetings for those unable to attend, as well as ongoing deadlines and frequently used links.
Our goal for this publication is to update the campus community on our efforts to refine and enhance the services we provide to you.
Finance Matters is emailed to the BFAN, CATSKILL and DF listservs. Issues may also be accessed through UVM Announcements & Events and on our website.
Two listservs are of particular interest to those responsible for financial and HR management. The first of these is called BFAN. The Budget & Finance Network (BFAN) is an in-person, and online community of UVM business and financial managers coordinated by the Division of Finance. DF uses the BFAN listserv to publish announcements, and hosts BFAN meetings five times a year. Agendas are sent to the BFAN and CATSKILL listservs prior to each meeting.
This listserv is for UVM business managers throughout the university. Any university office that wishes to broadcast financial information to campus may do so through the list. Typical communications might cover information such as changing postal rates, telecommunications broadcasts, PeopleSoft updates and notifications of month-end closings.
