Contracts involving software, hardware or professional services related to technology now require additional review for compliance in the areas of security, accessibility, risk and others.

Purchasing Services is working with ETS to roll out a review workflow that coordinates review by multiple UVM offices. These types of technology contracts (previously sent directly to Purchasing) now require specific questions to be answered, which will replace the current IT Checklist.

The process will be facilitated by a new Footprints workspace that will offer transparency to the department as they will receive email updates on the status of the contract as it moves through the review process.
