Administrative Business Service Center (ABSC)

The Administrative Business Service Center is committed to providing quality and reliable business support, offering simple and effective solutions for our customers, and delivering consistent application of policies and procedures. We are able to provide service excellence by continually strengthening our knowledgebase and partnering with our stakeholders. We bring a willingness to accept and meet challenges in a positive and proactive environment.

The mission of the Financial Analysis & Budgeting Office is to actively and creatively support instruction, research, and public service at UVM by producing and communicating accurate and useful financial information in a timely fashion.

Office of Operational Excellence (OOE)

The Office of Operational Excellence is dedicated to improving the organizational effectiveness of the Division and the operational efficiency of the enterprise-wide financial services it provides. We provide project management, change management, internal and external communications, training support, and business/systems analysis to users of UVM's financial management information, systems, and processes.

The mission of University Financial Services is to ensure the fiscal integrity of the University and its assets while providing the highest quality fiscal services to our diverse and dynamic campus community, in support of academic excellence. We strive as a team to provide reliable, relevant information to our internal and external constituencies in a timely fashion, in an ethical and professional manner. This mission will be accomplished through the prudent guidance and management of the University’s resources and services, appropriate levels of internal controls, excellence in technology and innovation, leadership, and spirited teamwork.
