FEMC is proud to announce that we have become a member node in DataONE! All of FEMC's existing projects and datasets are now discoverable through DataONE's search engine alongside hundreds of thousands of other datasets. This move not only makes FEMC's data more accessible, it makes it more secure by ensuring the rigorous metadata and resources of the FEMC are backed up on DataONE's distriubuted network.
DataONE is a global effort that enables universal access to data and also facilitates researchers in fulfilling their need for data management and in providing secure and permanent access to their data. DataONE offers the scientific community a suite of tools and training materials that cover all aspects of the data life cycle from data collection, to management, analysis and publication.
