      • Filtration and storage
        • Method Description: Samples were collected in amber bottles and refrigerated at 4 degrees C for no more than two weeks before filtration. Samples were filtered through 0.45 uM PES syringe filters into 1.5 ml IC vials and frozen at -20 celcius until analysis via ion chromatography.

        • Method Description: Samples were ran on a Dionix IC 3000 with a 5 point standard curve. Peaks were integrated properly and matched the integration of the standard curve, which typically had R-squared values above 0.9999
