Specifically, RI DEM is interested in a usable data layer that identifies forest cover in riparian buffers near agricultural lands. To achieve this, FEMC overlayed forest-type raster data, agricultural land data, and riparian buffer zones. The products provide RI DEM with an analysis to inform decision-making for conservation planning, land management, and water quality stewardship efforts in Rhode Island.</para>
<studyAreaDescription/></project><dataTable><entityName>RI Riparian 200m forest and cropland classification</entityName><entityDescription>RI Riparian 200m forest and cropland classification</entityDescription><physical><objectName>VMC.1810.4001</objectName><dataFormat><externallyDefinedFormat><formatName>mySQL</formatName></externallyDefinedFormat></dataFormat><distribution><online><url>https://www.uvm.edu/femc/CI4/data/archive/project/rhode-island-cropland-and-forest-data-layer/dataset/ri-riparian-200m-forest-cropland-classification</url></online></distribution></physical><coverage scope="document"><temporalCoverage scope="document"><rangeOfDates><beginDate><calendarDate>2024-06-20</calendarDate></beginDate></rangeOfDates></temporalCoverage></coverage><attributeList><attribute><attributeName>No Attributes</attributeName><attributeDefinition>No Definition</attributeDefinition><measurementScale><nominal><nonNumericDomain><textDomain><definition>no data</definition></textDomain></nonNumericDomain></nominal></measurementScale></attribute></attributeList></dataTable></dataset></eml:eml>
