Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Researcher

Andrew began work in May 2021 to expand coordination of Extension’s pasture and grazing research and outreach activities, and has since transitioned towards leading research projects realted to regional sustainable agriculture and food systems.  He comes to UVM with a Master’s of Science in Agriculture, Food and Environment from Tufts University, and a BS in Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University, as well as extensive experience developing the capacity of numerous farm and food systems organizations in Massachusetts, Vermont, Oregon, Maine and North Carolina. Andrew is also pursuing his doctoral degree at UVM's Sustainable Development Policy, Economics and Governance (SDPEG) Ph.D. program.
