Crops and Soils Staff

Henry joined the Northwest Crops and Soils Program in December 2019.  He comes to us following several years working for GrowNYC’s Regional Grains Project, a non-profit enterprise building demand for grain products grown and processed in the Northeast. He earned a Master’s from New York University in Food Systems studying market and supply chain development in the Northeast grain system. He brings knowledge of market and consumer demands, product and supply chain development, stakeholder engagement and cooking and baking to the team. Henry is assisting with projects as needed, focusing primarily on small grains and the emerging NWCS Sensory Practice.
