Catherine Davidson joined the UVM Extension Northwest Crops & Soils Program in April 2018. In November 2019, she became a full-time employee with the team! In addition to helping with outreach communication to farmers and the public, Catherine assists with grant project coordination, and with electronic technologies including online workspaces, virtual reality educational tools, webinar delivery and video software. She develops and designs outreach and media content for the teams many different client populations, and distributes across platforms. In the winter you can find her in the E. E. Cummings Crop Testing Laboratory on campus assisting with quality tests on grain and forages, and during the growing season at Borderview Research Farm helping with research and field work. Before moving to Vermont, Catherine received her BS in Environmental Science and Policy from Plymouth State University, NH in 2015 and had been working in Boston in the renewable energy industry.
