From a sculptor informed by
environmental research,
Urist's Hollow(ed) is a
dystopian forest of felled
tree stumps made from
cardboard boxes and
fossilized organic materials.
The body of work explores
the ¿ghosts¿ of fallen trees
and humans, using tree
rings to show the slow
growth process of nature
and the impression of
industry and capitalism on
