The University of Vermont provides a robust website publishing system for its most visible websites. A 2019 presidential mandate requires that the university's most visible departments and organizations be hosted on our central Drupal platform. These templates are optimized for accessibility and UVM branding. Users of the Drupal templates also receive access to the continual improvements and new features.

If you feel that a technical reason prevents your unit from using the Drupal platform, please submit this exception form. It will be reviewed by an internal committee.

Note: Though the central Drupal platform is appropriate for the university's most visible websites, we recognize that the central Drupal platform is not the appropriate website solution for all internal audiences. A number of other self-help platforms exist and are ideal for certain uses including student clubs and faculty research websites. See if your web goals best align with Drupal or  another UVM platform.
