Teaching with Microsoft Teams

FreeMicrosoft Teams is a new software available to faculty, staff, and students at UVM. In this workshop, we will explore its functionality and features that have positive implications for teaching, such as,
- Multiple users can edit shared documents simultaneously.
- The communication tool has a robust set of features that can serve multiple purposes.
- The synchronous video-conferencing tool can be used for online classes, exam review sessions, one-on-one consultations, and more.
We’ll review these and other features of this software along with ways faculty have used Teams at other colleges. You’ll then have a chance to brainstorm ways you might incorporate Microsoft Teams into your classes.
