But I’m Not a Writing Teacher! – Teaching Writing in Your Discipline (In-Person Session)

Tuesday, September 27, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

This workshop explores principles for infusing writing in disciplinary courses.  Starting with some basic principles for understanding the role of writing in participants’ disciplines, we’ll look at how disciplinary courses can support student writers by creating opportunities for connections and practice—all with an eye on sustainable workloads for students and teachers alike. The workshop will allow participants to apply core principles to their own teaching situation.

Facilitated by Susanmarie Harrington, WID Director

This meeting will be held IN-PERSON in 302 Howe Memorial Library (WID Conference Room). You will receive a reminder prior to the event.
