Variety of Students? Variety of Teaching Strategies! Addressing the Variability of Learners Through UDL

Wednesday, May 17 2017
@ 1:00 PM- 2:30 PM
This workshop focuses on reducing barriers to learning by examining teaching strategies that will help you reach the wide variety of students in today’s classroom. Universal Design for Learning (UDL), provides a framework for creating such inclusive learning spaces. This workshop boils down UDL theory and practical experience from UVM faculty, and presents CTL’s “Top Five Tips for Implementing UDL.”

The workshop will be a blend of presentation and discussion, so please bring a course syllabus as a reference because we will discuss how to integrate these “Top 5 Tips” into your existing assignments, assessments, and teaching practice.
