7 Features Every Blackboard User Should Know About

In this demo session we’ll show seven Blackboard features that may be unfamiliar to you. These 7 features are designed to help you save time, stay organized, and provide a better Blackboard experience for your students.

By the end of this session you will have a fuller understanding of: 1. Student Preview - a fully interactive student view of your course

2. Inline Grading - Collect, grade, and comment on student work without downloading files.

3. Grading with Rubrics - provide feedback for your students and grade according to specified criteria.

4. Grade Center Categories - understand this key feature for calculating grades.

5. Test Options - Provide options for students who need accommodation, and customize how and when students will see test results, answers, and feedback.

6. Retention Center - Check the academic health of your students and get insight into student performance.

7. Date Management - a useful feature when reusing courses from one semester to the next
