ARTS 195 – Digital Fabrication

Course Description: Intermediate course or seminars on topics beyond the scope of existing departmental offerings. See Schedule of Courses for specific titles.

Section Description: This studio course is an introduction to how artists and designers are using digital fabrication and how artists are thinking about the digital and material worlds. Students will experiment with 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting and microcontrollers. This course presents an exciting opportunity to work with the UVM FabLab.
