Line-up Location: Students will line-up in the Patrick Gymnasium; Faculty will line-up in the Athletic Performance Center
Line-up Time: 11:30 a.m.
Regalia: Students and faculty should arrive at the line-up wearing their regalia
Speaker: David M. Warshaw, Ph.D., Professor and Chair of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics, University of Vermont.  Bio.
Diplomas: All master’s and doctoral degree graduates will receive their academic hood and diploma during the Graduate College Commencement Ceremony. After Saturday, May 19, diplomas may be picked up at the Student Service Center located on the 3rd floor of the Waterman Building during the following times: Monday, May 21, 12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Tuesday - Friday, May 22 - 25, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Remaining diplomas will be mailed the week of May 28.

Seating Assistance: Please consider your mobility needs for the day. Ceremonies and receptions are generally a short walk or shuttle bus ride apart. UVM will have a limited number of wheelchairs available to transport guests needing assistance at each ceremony venue between the venue’s main entrance and their seat. Please note, guests will not be able to remain in the transport wheelchair during the ceremony, because UVM is unable to provide a wheelchair for all-day use. For assistance with a wheelchair at the end of the ceremony, please locate an usher wearing a yellow vest. If a wheelchair is needed for the full day, we recommend checking with local area vendors for availability. For other accommodations and requests, please refer to our Accessibility Request Form.
Photographer: GradImages, a professional commencement photography business, will photograph each student at their college/school ceremony.  Pre-event registration is encouraged. Visit the GradImages website to pre-register or to order prints. Please note, that photos take up to 72 hours to become available on the GradImages website.
