The 218th University Commencement Main Ceremony and College of Arts and Sciences Ceremony will be held outdoors on the University Green on Sunday, May 19, 2019.  

Sunday’s forecast is calling for a slight chance of showers in the morning, so please dress appropriately for the weather.  Note: the University Green is very saturated, so please wear appropriate footwear.

Tickets will not be required for the University Main Ceremony or the College of Arts and Sciences Ceremony.

The University Commencement Main Ceremony
A formal ceremony where the president will confer baccalaureate degrees and honorary degrees. Students will receive their diploma at their home college/school ceremony later in the day.

Larner College of Medicine Commencement Ceremony
The president will confer upon graduates the doctor of medicine degree. Graduates will take their professional oath.

College and School Ceremonies
College and school ceremonies (see links below) are scheduled throughout the afternoon following the University Commencement Main Ceremony on Sunday, May 19. At these ceremonies, undergraduates will walk across the stage of their home college/school to receive their diploma.
