Join Us For The 2019 Oncology Rehabilitation Conference

The UVM Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program is pleased to co-sponsor this one-day conference on oncology rehabilitation with the Vermont Lymphedema Network. The event is designed for generalist physical therapists and other health care professionals who would like to learn more about current screening, assessment and treatment of individuals with varying diagnoses of cancer. Case studies will be used to foster discussion and strategize evidence-based plans of care.


Guest Speaker: Mary Lou Galantino, PT, Ph.D., MSCE, FAPTA

Dr. Mary Lou Galantino is a Distinguished Professor of Physical Therapy at Stockton University, Galloway, NJ, where she also coordinates an interdisciplinary Holistic Health Minor. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Scholar and Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she conducts research on integrative medicine and chronic diseases. In her effort to integrate evidence based complementary medicine throughout rehabilitation practice, she is involved in several research projects funded by NIH and private foundations.
