Clinical Associate Professor and Vice Chair, Nursing Undergraduate Program

Dr. Jason Garbarino joined the University of Vermont Department of Nursing in 2013. Dr. Garbarino has maintained nursing practice at the University of Vermont Medical Center since 2008 and joined Appletree Bay Primary Care in 2020. His teaching passion is providing interprofessional students the requisite skills to deliver inclusive, evidence-based care to older adults and their families. His current scholarship focuses on promoting age-friendly care in primary care practice. He currently serves as a nursing faculty liaison for the Dartmouth Health Centers for Health and Aging and is an Advisory Board Member for Forbes Health.
