CSD 196 - D2: Communication Differences and Disorders in the Media

CSD 196 - D2: Communication Differences and Disorders in the Media is a three-credit course analyzing how the portrayal of individuals with communication differences and disorders in the media influences public perception and opinion.

The course, taught by speech-language pathologist and clinical educator Julia Walberg, M.S., CCC-SLP, features classroom discussions, viewing of popular films and guest speakers from the community.

The course is approved for Category Two Diversity (the Diversity of Human Experience) credit and is open to all undergraduate students. No prerequisites necessary.
